Sam is an incredibly talented self-taught professional furniture maker and woodworker. His eye for detail and editing skills have built him a large following to his engaging and inspirational content. Working from his small workshop garage conversion, he showcases his high-end, handmade commissions from start to finish, shares his woodworking tips and tricks and also helps other makers grow their own social media channels.

His previous successful career on stage as a West End performer (you may have seen him in West End shows like STOMP, War Horse and Wicked) gave Sam a great online presence and natural confidence on screen.

Sharing build plans, teaching 1-2-1 build courses and hosting lives, Sam is keen to inspire and empower others to develop their skills and advance their woodworking hobby into a successful business. With a knack for getting those scroll-stopping transitions, Sam's content is engaging and informative. So much so, the BBC have picked up on his bubbly, infectious personality onscreen, and got him showcasing his skills on not only BBC Bitesize, but a regular spot on Money for Nothing, where skilled professionals rescue unloved items from being dumped and transform them into valuable pieces that are truly unrecognisable, showing that there is always life left in things we buy. This ethos of sustainability is echoed in his work and socials, often using commission scraps and turning them into coasters and decor pieces.

His handmade furniture business, Fox & Monkey that he shares with his wife Katie (@thefox.home), features stunning sustainable, high-end furniture, crafted from hand-picked planks of Ash, Oak and Walnut. Their sleek and stylish designs (by Katie!) have even been featured in Country Living magazine and in Vogue!
