Katie is an interior lover, mother and business owner who is transforming her new build home one room at a time, sharing with her audience how to add character, style and charm to a bland space.

Much like her husband Sam (@monkeyboysworkshop), she started out her career performing in Musicals in London's West End, and the creative arts still remain a huge passion of hers. During lockdown, Katie and her husband moved out into the Bedfordshire countryside into their newbuild home, and fell in love with interior design. She began learning how to design and build beautiful handmade pieces for their home together, which they later turned into a very successful sustainable handmade furniture business; Fox & Monkey, which has been featured in the likes of Vogue and Country Living magazines.

Using her performance background, Katie thrives on being creative and shows up online with a confidence on-camera, showcasing her deep love for sharing content by using aesthetic videography and utilising her knack for capturing the beautiful, simple moments in life. Katie loves to share an array of interior styling, room transformations, life as a new mother, and how to curate a unique home that makes you feel at ease.

 

Katie has a real eye for visualising a space and putting together stunning & creative mood boards. She has a particular soft spot for neutrals, greens, decorating children’s rooms and using natural materials - particularly as she co-founded a company with her husband and fellow content creator Sam, where they design and create sustainable, handmade furniture together.

 

As well as sustainability, travel and family are a huge part of their lives and they love to find unique places around the world to unwind, switch off, have an adventure and make memories. As a mum, Katie loves to not only share her interior insights, but to connect with and help other new mums who want to create a beautiful home life (as well as the honest realities of parenting!) and encourages them to prioritise self care. She is also not afraid to get stuck in and try out DIY herself; panelling is her speciality!
