Jasmine actually began her influencer career in the beauty world, blogging about all her favourite products and makeup looks as a way of connecting with her sister while they were in different countries and later, whilst at university in 2011. During that time, she organised and hosted an annual blogger event called BloggersXmas designed to connect brands with bloggers across multiple different niches. These popular events saw over 200 bloggers and around 40 brands in attendance.
7 years later, she bought her first house with her husband, a new build which lacked personality, character and storage. Creating a new social media account for this, she began sharing her decor purchases, her interior styling and her DIY projects, which became popular very quickly. With very few other influencers in this niche at the time, particularly women, her presence in the DIY world was solidified. Roll on the pandemic and Jasmine's first pregnancy, she took the UK by storm showing that women can do it themselves, and wont let anything hold her back from creating the home of her dreams, ready for the arrival of her son. She was seen building a pergola from scratch at 20 weeks and tiling her en-suite floor at 38 weeks - what an absolute queen!
With no formal training, just ADHD and a 'what's the worst that could happen' attitude, she just picks up tools and gives it a go! Jasmine has taught herself an incredible wealth of skills, and now, through her platform, she's able to teach others too.
Over the past few years, she's worked on client's houses building floating shelves and fitted wardrobes, completed a whole shop-fit on a £500 budget, and has even worked on a DIY themed pilot with Channel 4 and volunteered on the BBC's DIY SOS: The Big Build in 2023. In 2025, she will be on our screens once more on Channel 4's 'George Clarke's Kitchens vs. Gardens', and the Kidderminster and Surrey episodes of BBC's DIY SOS. She has also appeared in most major UK newspapers and featured on regional news channels for her incredible projects and representation for women in DIY.
Praised for her easy-to-follow how-to's and project inspiration, she loves creating reels and educational carousels, helping a new generation of DIYers to know the difference between a masonry drill bit and an HSS bit, and help them realise that building things from scratch is not only easier than it looks, but way more cost efficient too. She also creates engaging UGC content and is currently working on a huge build to get her workshop/ filming studio ready to dominate the world of YouTube with in-depth tutorials and a downloadable course for her loyal, engaged audience.
Jasmine's audience is mostly young adults (18-34) and millennials interested in interior design, home improvement, DIY projects, and creating a stylish living space. She also focuses on budget-friendly solutions, eco-conscious design choices and family-friendly spaces.
